Resumen biográfico

It's not surprising that lots of people go on diets to shed weight. But recent research indicates that taking a break from dieting might be crucial to weight loss success, not to mention maintaining those stubborn pounds away for good. While one group of dieters followed this plan continuously for 16 weeks in a row, another team followed the diet intermittently. (This isn't to be mistaken with intermittent fasting, which entails going for certain periods of time without any food.) In the context of this particular study, the intermittent diet involved maintaining the calorie-cutting diet for two months and then breaking from the diet for two weeks afterward by ingesting only to maintain a stable weight. Then, these occasional dieters repeated this same cycle for 30 months to make sure the 16 total months of this calorie-cutting diet were included.
