Utilidad, motivación y gamificación en la adopción de MOOCs para la capacitación docente
Resumen
Esta investigación valida una propuesta teórica que integra el Modelo de Aceptación Tecnológica, el Modelo de Éxito de Sistemas de Información y la Teoría Unificada de Aceptación y Uso de Tecnologías, incorporando variables adicionales como la confianza y la gamificación. El objetivo fue analizar los factores que influyen en el uso de cursos en línea masivos y abiertos (MOOCs) para la capacitación del personal educativo en Tamaulipas, México. Se recolectaron 470 encuestas y se utilizó la técnica de modelado de ecuaciones estructurales por mínimos cuadrados parciales para evaluar el modelo propuesto. Los resultados demostraron que la utilidad percibida, la motivación hedónica y la gamificación tienen un impacto significativo en el uso de los MOOCs, destacando la importancia de ofrecer cursos que sean funcionales, atractivos y socialmente integrados. Desde una perspectiva teórica, el modelo de investigación demuestra la viabilidad de medir la calidad de los MOOCs de manera integrada, contribuyendo a la literatura sobre calidad y aceptación tecnológica. A nivel práctico, los resultados sugieren prácticas que se pueden aplicar para el diseño de cursos efectivos, enfocados en la calidad, el disfrute, el compromiso, fortaleciendo así las competencias del personal educativo y promoviendo la formación continua para una educación de mayor calidad
