Armed robbers posing as plumbers beat and torture two men for 15 hours

A pair of armed robbers had dressed up as plumbers in order to gain entry into a Bronx apartment, where police say they spent the next 15 hours beating and torturing two men with a hot iron.
According to the NYPD, the violent home invasion took place at around 3pm on Monday at a residence near East 227th Street and Barnes Avenue.
Surveillance video captured two men in masks standing outside the home, wearing matching reflective work vests and carrying tool bags.

Police said the con men knocked on the door, claiming they were there to fix the plumbing.
Upon entering, they threatened the two men who were inside the apartment, ages 28 and 35, with a gun, tied them up and demanded money.
Police said the robbers spent the night beating the victims.
At one point during the 15-hour ordeal, they used a hot iron on the 28-year-old man's back, leaving him with burns.

By the time officers responded to the apartment, the suspects had left along with $2,000 in cash and a cellphone. The second victim was also gone.
The younger victim was taken to Montefiore Medical Center to be treated for a head injury and the burns to his back.
Police are appealing to the public for help with identifying the suspects, one of whom was last seen wearing a hood with large white lettering seemingly spelling the words 'Members Only' and a colorful face mask.
