Sunrise's Natalie Barr, 52, receives treatment for rosacea

Viewers are used to seeing Natalie Barr glammed up and presenting the news on Sunrise every morning.

But this week, the 52-year-old revealed that she struggles with skin issues and is currently undergoing treatment for rosacea.

The journalist continued: 'Back in the hands of Dr Sullivan at Kingsway Dermatology using Candela Medical's Nordlys device to treat my red cheeks and neck.

A fan commented on the post asking if the device can get rid of pigmentation too, which prompted an enthusiastic response from Natalie.

'Yes it can get rid of that too. I had a small brown big of pigmentation on the left side of my face and they zapped it!' she wrote.

Earlier this month, Natalie shared a photo from her first visit to the clinic.  

Captioning the image, the red-faced star wrote: 'I'm finally getting around to having some treatments for Rosacea and while they're at it they're using IPL and a new Frax-style laser to repair some sun damage and signs of aging.'

Back in July, the 52-year-old told 'I am not one of those people who panics about looks,' she told the publication. 'I keep reasonably fit, I haven't had Botox - though no judgement if you do'.

The Sunrise host added that she does boost the volume of her hair with extensions, however.'I do wear hairpieces because they fill my hair out. I'm just glad the viewer doesn't expect us all to be 23,' she said. Natural: Back in July, the 52-year-old told Stellar magazine that she refrains from cosmetic injections but doesn't have any harsh words for anyone who does
